Shipped

pepperAssist doesn't have customer counts or uptime stats to show yet — this page is what we show instead: a dated, honest record of what's actually live, pulled straight from our own build log. Nothing here is a roadmap item or a plan — every line below already shipped.

  1. A heads-up when a request's timing looks off

An approval request now gets an "Unusual timing" flag — on the web and in Telegram — when it comes from a booking made less than 48 hours before arrival, or when 2+ requests land within 24 hours for the same stay. Nothing is blocked or auto-decided — it's just one more thing to weigh before you approve, reject, or suggest an alternative.

  2. A heads-up before a lockout becomes an emergency

Repeated failed code entry or a forced-open/tamper event at a smart lock now alerts you right away, the same way a low-battery warning already does — so you can check on a guest before it turns into a real problem.

  3. Every approval now links straight to its conversation

Reviewing a pending or decided request on the Approvals page? Click straight through to the guest or vendor thread it came from — and for a decided "alternative suggested" request, see the actual counter-offer you sent, right on the page.

  4. Guest messages get translated for you, right in the Inbox

A guest writes in Spanish or Portuguese and you don't speak it? The Inbox now shows a "Translated from Spanish ▸" toggle under their message with an English translation — the guest's original text stays exactly as they wrote it.

  5. Telegram commands no longer go silent on a hiccup

Ask the bot for /properties, /inbox, /reservations, /approvals, /maintenance, /vendors, or /faqs and hit a rare database hiccup, and you'll now get a clear "try again in a moment" instead of nothing at all.

  6. Undo a door code you set by mistake

Set a manual door code with the Telegram /setcode command and need to take it back — wrong hours, a contractor who finished early? Revoke it on the spot with /revokecode instead of waiting for it to expire on its own.

  7. Give one property its own AI voice

Running a mixed portfolio? Set an AI tone for a single property that overrides your account-wide default — a laid-back beach studio and a formal luxury villa can each sound like themselves.

  8. Search guest conversations from anywhere

The command palette (⌘K) now searches your Unified Inbox too — find the guest who asked about the broken AC or complained about noise without leaving whatever page you're on.

  9. A quick AI summary on the threads that need your attention

Open a conversation the AI escalated, or a vendor negotiation, and you'll now see a one-line AI summary of what's been discussed before you read the whole thread — with a button to regenerate it.

  10. Message the Telegram bot directly and get a real response

Find the bot yourself instead of using the Connect Telegram link in Settings and it used to say nothing back. Now it tells you what to do — connect through Settings if you're not linked yet, or that you're already good to go if you are.

  11. Read the actual text conversation the AI had with your vendor

Every AI-negotiated quote is now backed by a real transcript you can open — the ticket and the vendor's profile both link straight to the SMS back-and-forth, not just the final number.

  12. Check a smart lock's battery anytime, not just when it's low

The smart locks settings page now shows each linked lock's current battery status — so you can check on it whenever you want, not just rely on catching the one-time low-battery alert.

  13. A heads-up before a smart lock's battery dies

Connected smart locks now report their battery status — you're notified the first time one runs low, instead of finding out when a guest gets locked out.

  14. The Telegram bot always replies

Text your connected Telegram bot anything — even something it doesn't recognize as a command — and it responds with what it can do, instead of leaving you wondering if the message went through.

  15. You'll know if a charge gets disputed

If a guest disputes a monthly charge with their bank, you're notified the moment it happens — not left to discover a chargeback on your own.

  16. A second way to spot a guest getting more upset

Beyond flagging a single negative message, the Unified Inbox now also flags a guest whose tone is worsening across a conversation — catching an escalation before it peaks, not just after.

  17. Ask pepperAssist can now answer revenue questions

Ask pepperAssist plain-language questions and it can now tell you month-to-date revenue per property, alongside open tickets, pending approvals, and upcoming check-ins — still read-only.

  18. Fix a mis-scoped knowledge base entry without starting over

Editing a knowledge base document or FAQ entry can now change which property it's scoped to — no more deleting and recreating one just to fix or move it.

  19. You'll know when we charge your card

A successful monthly charge now sends you a notification, and every past charge is recorded in a real billing history in the dashboard — not just your bank statement.

  20. Disconnect an integration yourself

Turn off a connected Lodgify account or Seam/Kwikset smart-lock connection straight from Settings, whenever you need to — no support ticket required.

  21. Low-confidence AI replies get flagged for you

When the AI isn't confident in an answer, that conversation is now visibly flagged in the Unified Inbox — so it's easy to find and review, instead of easy to miss.

  22. A real history of your approval decisions

The Approvals page now keeps a Decided section alongside the pending queue, so you can look back at what you approved, rejected, or countered — not just what's waiting right now.

  23. Ask about our cancellation policy, get a real answer

Add a cancellation/refund policy to a property's house manual, and the AI can now answer a guest's policy question directly — instead of every mention of "refund" going straight to a holding message.

  24. See everything tied to a stay, in one place

A reservation's detail page now shows a Related activity card: any maintenance tickets or approval requests linked to that guest's stay, one click from the full record.

  25. The real door code, not a placeholder

A reservation's detail page now shows the actual per-stay door code issued for that guest, not a static fallback value.

  26. Search your knowledge base from anywhere

Knowledge base documents are now searchable straight from the command palette (⌘K), alongside properties, vendors, maintenance tickets, and FAQs.

  27. Two more dashboard widgets: current guests and vendor ETA

The dashboard now shows who's currently checked in at each property and a computed vendor ETA, alongside the widgets already there.

  28. Guest satisfaction, on the dashboard

A guest-satisfaction snapshot — built from real sentiment scoring on guest messages, never a fabricated number — now has its own dashboard widget.

  29. Revenue, at a glance

A revenue snapshot widget on the dashboard, pulled straight from your connected Lodgify data.

  30. Vendors build a real track record

Every vendor now shows a job-count history and a computed average response time — measured from actual vendor-message timestamps, not a self-reported rating.

  31. Urgent maintenance issues get a louder alert

A high-severity, guest-reported maintenance issue now sends a distinctly formatted 🚨 URGENT alert in Telegram and email, instead of the same notification a routine ticket gets.

  32. New Unified Inbox filters

Filter the inbox down to conversations tied to an open maintenance ticket, or to a pending refund/discount/exception approval — on top of the existing unread and channel filters.

  33. Ask pepperAssist

A new owner-facing Q&A surface. Ask a plain-language question about your own properties — open tickets, pending approvals, upcoming check-ins — and get an answer grounded only in your own data. Read-only: it never approves, rejects, or writes anything.

  34. Double-booking detection

Every sync now checks for overlapping reservations at the same property across every connected channel, and alerts you immediately if it finds one. Nothing is auto-cancelled — you decide.

  35. Automatic post-checkout review requests

24 hours after a completed stay, the guest gets an automatic review request in their own detected language (English, Spanish, or Portuguese), sent once on their existing conversation thread.

  36. Your own AI reply tone

Set a reply tone once — friendly, professional, concise, or your own instructions — and every AI guest reply matches it. Tone is style-only: it never overrides the money or exception rules.

  37. Kwikset smart locks go live, via Seam

Keyless entry: a unique guest PIN is auto-issued shortly before check-in and auto-revoked at checkout. Need a code outside a reservation window — a same-day walkthrough, a vendor visit? Generate one on demand with a single Telegram command.

  38. Handle one guest yourself, without pausing the whole property

Beyond turning AI off for an entire property, you can now pause it for a single reservation only — every other guest at that property keeps getting AI replies as normal.

  39. Proactive negative-sentiment alerts

A guest message that scores negative sentiment now triggers an immediate email or Telegram alert to the owner — an active push, not a badge waiting to be noticed on your own timing.

  40. Sentiment flags, guest history, and your own approval threshold

Three additions the same day: negative-sentiment guest messages are flagged in the Unified Inbox; a returning guest's past stays, issues, and preferences are summarized automatically before every stay; and you can set your own dollar threshold for what needs your approval.

  41. Self-learning FAQ suggestions

Every time you reply to a guest by hand, the AI turns that exchange into a suggested FAQ entry — filtering out one-off favors so they never become a standing policy for the next guest — and nothing publishes until you approve it.

  42. Pause the AI for an entire property

Turn off AI automation for one property at a time — useful for a VIP stay, or while you're troubleshooting something yourself.

  43. The AI relays vendor questions to your guest, and back

When a vendor has a question mid-job — or a guest does — the AI passes it back and forth so you don't have to be the go-between.
