SMS program terms

Program description

pepperAssist sends text messages from +1 (817) 400-0093 to service contractors, such as plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and handymen, about maintenance and repair work at short-term rental properties they have been hired to service. Messages include job details, requests for a price quote and availability, follow-up questions about the job, and confirmation of whether a quote was approved. All messages are transactional and job-specific. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

How to opt in

If you have given your mobile number directly to the property manager who hired you, you will receive a single confirmation text from +1 (817) 400-0093 asking you to reply YES before any job messages are sent. No job details or other messages are sent until you reply YES to that confirmation text. If you do not reply, you receive no further messages.

Only after this reply does pepperAssist send any job details. “[Property Manager]” is replaced with the actual business name.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages immediately. You can also reply CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, STOPALL, or REVOKE. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. To start receiving messages again, reply START or YES.

No mobile information collected for SMS purposes is shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This does not include our service providers, such as our SMS platform provider, who process this data solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
